About Skystone Plans

Skystone has spent many years collecting full size model aircraft plans, scale documents and pictures. There are currently around 1,200 model plans available covering all aspects of model building. Scale plans, Sport Flying, Aerobatic, Pattern, Float Fly, Old Timers, for RC, U-Control, Gliders, Free Flight and Rubber Power. There are also a lot of discontinued "Kit" plans in the collection. Most of them have had pattern sheets prepared so that a scratch builder will be able to use them. Good coverage of the old "Berkeley" plans and many others. Many plans have been drawn for planes & kits that were never published or available in a full size version. Included are plans by Robert Wagner, William Thompson, Myself and several others.

Printing & Scanning

Many of our plans will print out even better than the old original plans. 95% Of the scanning was done at 400x400 DPI as is the printing. All of our plans & documents are printed on Acid Free paper for long life.

Documents on CD - DVD

We are now putting Scale Documents on CD's and DVD's that you can print out yourself. With several thousand documents, 3, 4, & multi views and pictures you can spend days or even weeks just having fun checking them out. Then only print what is of real interest to you. "Profile Publications" are also being scanned and being put on CD's & DVD's. When completed the first 100 will be included as well as another 50+ above the first 100. Most of the Profiles print better than the original publication.

Antique Engine CD

Engine lovers will really enjoy having this CD. There is a lot of coverage of Spark Engines, Reviews, How To articles, Old Ad's, Specifications and instruction sheets. A few semi modern engines are included that are a little out of the main stream and interesting. Just for fun a lot of Aircraft related cartoons.
